The time is ripe and we have a brief window of opportunity. It is the moment for a strategic, movement-level intervention in Europe directed against militarization. If the last few years were telling us that, the first days into this year are screaming it at us.

At the turn of the year we published a note to present a diagnosis of this opportunity, show possible pathways and explore how could put them in motion. Now we want to talk with you – who like us can’t probably stop thinking of the strategic moment for an anti-militarization momentum in Europe – about this concrete, current task that could improve the power relations in favor of anti-capitalist forces.

We will start with the presentation of the reasons for the pertinence of an anti-militarization movement-level intervention and the analysis of the status of social movements, followed by a discussion of possible steps forward.
