On South Durban Community Environmental Alliance's invitation, Sinan presented the book in the Merebank Community Centre. SDCEA fights against the heavy industrial pollution that threatens the health of the working class as well as climate disasters that swept working class neighborhoods recently. The communities are well aware of the structural root causes of unemployment, poverty, inequality, extractivism and climate destruction. We had a joint discussion about how to build locally rooted yet translocally coordinated strategies for system change.
