In Durban, we had a strategy discussion on movement-level thinking with activists from groundWork and their allies working on energy democracy in South Africa. Some key topics that emerged for the context of the South African climate justice movement were the importance of seeing ourselves within the larger movement ecosystem and conceiving strategy with a transversal perspective rather than a topic-limited approach.
