Interview with All In team in the The Last Fireflies podcast

podcast art

On June 12 2026 Sinan Eden (o-author of the book), and Beatrice (from Last Generation Italy) were interviewed in The Last Fireflies Podcast to talk about the ideas developed in the book “All in: A Revolutionary Theory to Stop Climate Collapse” (authored by Mariana Rodrigues and Sinan Eden). In this book some important questions come up: We are on the brick of irreversible climate disruptions if we don’t make radical changes in the next 10-20 years. How do we organize for system change on this timescale? How do we navigate a movement ecology full of ideological and organisational divides, when there is no option to leave the table, to “fold”? How do we plan to actually win?

The first part of the conversation (the “Campfire Talk,” starting at 00:36) explores how the knowledge of climate collapse itself changes the way we organize. The key question that extends the book is: how do we build enough power to actually win, within the necessary timespan, in a climate justice movement made up of groups with very different tactics and aims? It means taking the temporal urgency seriously — it is not enough to resist or grow slowly; what is needed is a strategy aimed at victory within a narrow horizon.

The second part (the “How to” section, starting at 34:22) develops an idea the book discussed in the book: the movement ecology mindset. It seams like the world is now in perpetual crisis and we all want to do something. But am I the right person to call for protest or should I support others to do it? In this section, we discuss the moments in which we question our position in the movement, learning to know when we should speak, hold a banner, plan a meeting, support others or throw the brick.
